Sodium PCA  is a derivative of glutamic acid (amino acids). It is very hygroscopic, which means absorbing large amounts of water. A relatively simple molecule, naturally produced by our body and one component of the “natural moisturizing factor”, signals our skin to slow water loss into the environment.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate ( Vitamin C) improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis, reduces redness, accelerates wound healing and suppresses skin pigmentation. Because the body’s control mechanism limits the amount of vitamin C ingested available to the skin, topical antioxidant therapy becomes an efficient way to target vitamin C directly to the skin. This is a “real” ester-C, a more stable form of ascorbic acid and will stimulate collagen synthesis.
